Growing up in Evanston, Illinois and later Winnetka, Illinois, my parents taught me the value of hard work, honesty and education. My wife Sandra and I chose to stay in this area of our country so we could raise our two girls Sarah and Tori with the same values.
Giving back to the community is important to me. In addition to my new involvement in charitable organizations, I am a former vice chair of the Winnetka caucus, a non-profit community organization, a former executive director of our local PTA benefit fundraiser, and a former board member of the Winnetka paddle tennis club.
I am proud to be a member of the national ethics bureau and that we have had an a+ rating with the better business bureau since January 2008.
